The Doors of Paris

Doors of Paris

Paris is delightful for so many reasons, and one of the fascinations with the city for me is the doors. As you stroll the streets, you’ll notice so many styles of doors, and such character to them. In a city known for it’s clean, white architecture, the doors can add a pop of color. Paris doorsParis doors

Even the neutral colors add intrigue to a building. Paris doorsParis doors

My favorite doors are at the Cluny Museum. Cluny Museum

All these are so beautiful doors, Sharon, but they could have been anywhere in Europe. I’ve seen them in Budapest, in Prague, and even in Bucharest. You had a great idea to write about them. I love it! #THeWeeklyPostcard

Ha! We do the same thing traipsing around Europe taking pictures of doors and door knockers and house numbers. They just all feel so old and beautiful and charming and …. DIFFERENT. My husband literally came home from our Italy trip with 100 images different door knockers. Love Paris. The doors. And the details. Thanks for this intimate look and for sharing with #FarawayFiles.
