Keep on Walking

Do you ever think it’s hard to keep on walking? When you’re only three years old, your legs aren’t very tall.

Sometimes I run to keep up. You can see me in my red jacket. I’m the shortest one. See me running fast?

Steps can take a long time. But I just keep going up and up and up to the top.

When I carry my blanket, I try not to step on it. And I just keep walking.

Here I am climbing a big mountain in the sand. I can do it all by myself.

And here I’m running down a hill.

All that walking and running and climbing makes me tired. So I take a nap.

It’s so much fun to keep going and finding new places. Even when I have to go up big mountains. Or stop to rest. Or ask somebody to carry me. That’s fun because we walk together and laugh.

I hope you like walking, too. And that you have someone to carry you when you get tired.

Linking up with a song-inspired party, Song-ography, where the theme this week is “Keep on Walking” by Passenger.

Ahhhh….a kid and his blankie, brings back so many memories of my youngest Thing when she was little. What a cutie patootie you’ve got here. And I love your sentiment about hoping we have someone to carry us when we are tired. Thank you so much for linking up to Song-ography!
