A Place of Peace

Do you have a place you can relax and enjoy spring? I’m thankful for my patio at our condo. Small flowers in the tiny space pack a big, beautiful punch.

Last week our neighbor moved and asked us to please give some of her plants a new home. We have this healthy greenery now.

And this new wrought iron decor.

Can you tell my favorites are reds, whites, and pinks?

If I ever feel closed in and in need of a wider view, I can look up.

My patio is a place of peace. In spring, it’s abloom, fresh greenery grows, and I’m warmed by the sun.

How about you? Where do you find peace in your neighborhood?

What a beautiful place of peace, silence (?) and relaxation. Everybody needs a save haven every now and then to recharge her or his batteries.
I wish you a peaceful Tuesday, Sharon!
Regards from sunny Germany,
Uwe.

Sharon, Your patio and garden are truly a place of respite. I love the colors and textures and that gorgeous blue sky. It’s wonderful that you can walk out your door to a place that brings you so much joy and such lovely photography opportunities. Your pictures make me feel as though I have visited you for a cup of tea and some sunshine in the garden.

What a lovely, peaceful space you have! I am always happy to be home, pulling into the driveway is like pulling into a haven. It’s what we created here, it’s what I am still working on. In fact, today I plan to work outside, I need it for my heart, soul and body.

Keep enjoying your bit of paradise. You have some lovely plants and a nice place to sit and relax.

It is truly a peaceful and beautiful place…your patio. I don’t know the name of the succulent plant in that last photo, but it is certainly happy where it is!

Oh it’s definitely on my covered front porch listening to the birds chirping and the green tree frogs barking across the street from each other, haha, and watching the green anoles leaping from bush to bush. I love your patio, such a cozy wonderful spot and lucky you to get your neighbors plants!

Oh, what a dreamy place you have there! I do love that succulent – I have one that I’m overwintering in my sunny window – waiting until May when it will be safe to put outside again…

That is a lovely spot. I really like the iron lamps too-something about curves and iron always delights me.

Wonderful. A fabulous corner in your patio. Love the new lanterns. Not only is the view in the patio lovely, but also your “up” view. Your up view reminds me of the street on which I grew up in Los Angeles.

Looks like a pleasant spot. I enjoy our deck, but a sudden gust of wind today just snapped off the sun umbrella (brand new) and blew it two houses down the street!

I’m always happy to provide homes for “greens.” A touch of green makes such a big difference. I recently added a new some golden pothos to our bathrooms for that touch of green and I recently also read that they help improve air quality.
